July's Theme

I have been casting about in my mind for what to do with theming the month of July.  A whole bunch of events and thoughts collided this afternoon and I think I know what I’m going to do this year.  We can see what everyone thinks after we give it a try concerning making it ongoing.  I’m not going to burden you with all the things that came together, as it actually goes back to the formation of the group and before.  However one key observation was that the number attending could vary wildly.  Anyway, here is the theme:

2 and 3 Player Games

I am going to acquire some of the best of the best of two player games to support this - games like Jaipur and Lost Cities.  We can also play other games that play well with 2.  I already have a number of good three player games - San Marco being a prime example.

By focusing on 2 and 3 player games we can play anywhere from 2 to whatever in the way of attendees.  And with 4 or more we would focus on shorter games so we could mix it up throughout the day.
