Well, it was a very different game day today! It was going to be a hybrid video game/board game day, but after Don had a conflict and Rick took sick we were down to just 4. So Alex chose to do video games all day. We collected two TVs, a Wii, two PS units and four steering wheels and went for it.
I think we’d be more organized about things if we do it again, but as a “proof of concept” it worked fine. We spent about half the time learning how to drive race cars on the PS units and the other half on various Wii sports games. I should clearly not go anywhere near a real race car. My hand-eye coordination also isn’t getting any better with age - but the Wii is still a lot of fun.
The next game day is presently scheduled for 2/21. Please let me know if that date works for you.
If he is able to attend it will be Don’s day to pick the games. If not we will declare it to be a special new games day - because we have a ton of them.
