June Game Day Report

Today was Jessica’s choice day.  We played two games of Race for Galaxy (boy were some of us rusty!) and Martian Rails (first play of a new-to-us game).  Martian rails is part of the crayon rails series.  It has colored printed-on load chips, which is a great upgrade.  Like Lunar Rails in has the wrap-around board, which is always mind bending.  And it is full of sci-fi references and humor (many of which I, sadly, have forgotten).

As is our usual habit, there will be no formally scheduled game day in July and the “game day” for August will be DragonFlight.  Also as in past years we will not hesitate to call a special session if any visitors are in town or vacation plans fall through.  So watch your e-mail and keep in touch if you want to suggest a gathering.

Otherwise, I hope to see everyone on-line.

The next formally scheduled session is presently set for 9/13 with the theme of co-op games.

I hope everyone has a great summer and I look forward to seeing at least some of you at DragonFlight.
