Today was the first half of a double-game-day month. The theme for the day was dice games. Being highly luck based, they tend toward being short - so we played a bunch of them. We played Buccaneer Bones, Quarriors, Blueprints, Roll through the Ages, King of Tokyo and two games of Martian Dice.
I remember when the group would start playing at 1 PM and play to 1 or 2 AM. We played until just after dinner today and I am totally wiped out. I can’t conceive of going another 6 hours, no matter how much fun it would be.
One of the group seemed like they were going to mop the floor with the rest of us all day long, but the luck evened out eventually. And of course a good time was had by all.
The next session this month is 5/24. We will start at 11:00 AM so Kalani and Joshua can be with us for a few hours. Lunch is included and the balance of the group is welcome to stay and play through the afternoon (no dinner provided). The theme of the day is whatever Kalani and Joshua want to play!
The next BSW evening is 5/29 at 7:30 PM Pacific Time.
The June game day is presently scheduled for June 7th at the regular hour. Please let me know if you will be able to attend.
